Right-click on the Start button and select sound settings
In the sound setting window, expand the Manage audio devices section.
Check if there are Oculus quest 2 devices with a disabled status.
If there are, right-click on the disabled device and select Enable from the context menu.
Close the Device Manager window and restart your computer.

Also, in the “Audio Output section” make sure to check that you have selected “Headphone (Oculus Virtual Audio Device)“.

Update Your Audio Drivers

Right-click on the Start button and select Device Manager from the context menu.

Right-click on your audio device and select Update Driver from the context menu.
In the next window, select Search automatically for updated driver software.

Once the updates are installed, restart your computer and check if the audio issues have been fixed.

Choose The Right Audio Device in Oculus Software

It’s important to check which audio device is selected in your Oculus Software settings. To do this:

Open the Oculus app on your PC and go to Settings.
Select Devices from the left menu.
Click “Quest 2 and Touch”
Under Audio Devices, make sure the device you want to use is selected.

If the wrong audio device is selected, you may not be able to hear any sound from your Oculus Quest 2.

Check For Damage

Use Windows “Troubleshoot Sound Problems”
